I found a worked g200 that my mate has, but he doesnt know if he is selling it. Its been sitting in his shed for fuck knows how long. The motor is apparently good, but the head is corroded from poor coolent. If I but this motor, I am looking to put a turbo on it down the track, so what head would best suit the turbo setup? I could shave the head, but thats no good for a turbo from what Ive read in the forum. I was thinking a g180 head or a large valve TX head but Im not completely sure. Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
Pavlos

exactly
the 1600 heads have a small combustion chamber which will up your compression. opposite of what you want to run some good boost

try and get a g200 head.

my brother was using a 1600 head on his turbod 2L. the head had staino valves and ported as far as you can go, using a decompression plate it had no problems pinging running 15psi (using injection) block was also bored 40thou with flat top pistons, so we could never find out what compression it was running
