HotGemini is back... again!
Well, it's been about a year and a half since the last time HotGemini got hacked, the problem was phpBB again... Unfortunately this time there was a lot more damage done, and due to some stupidity on my part much of my backups were over written. OK enough of that.
HotGemini is back again! I hope most of you guys that made it great are still out there. About 1/2 the forum posts are gone as well as a lot of the user accounts, but I think enough was able to be salvaged to have some kind of solid base to start over.
I'm still going to stick with phpBB, it's a good BB and I think they are finally starting to learn a thing or two about security. Who knows, I may have even learned a lesson on redundant backups.
In any case welcome back everyone! I know a year and a half is a very long time, I hope you're all still out there!
PS. thanks to the various people emailing bugging me to bring the site back. Some I responded to some I didn't. But I did see them all.

HotGemini is back!
OK, it took long enough but we're back. F***kin hackers got in and deleted the home page and put up some religious nonsense. The damage wasn't too bad but I had to upgrade phpBB to a more secure version, port the data across and rewrite the templates for the new phpBB version.
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.hotgemini.com saved me a few hours, let me go wayyy back and see how it used to look

It's been a mad year for me. I've moved to the USA, started a new role in my job and got married. Unfortunately HotGemini.com suffered a bit as a result and I haven't been spending as much time as I would like on the site. Now things have settled down a bit I'm going to be able to stay ahead of things more.
I'm currently getting through the email backlog, working on updating the galleries and have also fixed the problem with the contact form.
stay tuned for more soon!

HotGemini has been updated
The site update has finally happened! As these things always tend it's taken much longer and much more work than I ever imagined. I think it's going to be worth it though.....
