Its just so easy too use.. and im thinking off connecting the intercooler and the inlet box together with the stuff using high temperature sylicon.
2Questions... will this melt?
And how hot does the air get comming out off the turbo?
but ill use copper pipes and bends form the turbo too the intercooler, and join it 2gether with solder. simple az |

actually i was just thinking, another option would be rubber piping, that too would be alot easyier. (the type off stuff used on your radiator, but just a bit thicker and stiffer)
im sure that the air comming out off the turbo would be no where near as hot as the water being serculated in the cooling system.
correct me if im rong :S |

if u even attempt to use anything other than alloy piping or stainless it will melt
using pvc is like building a house with playdough
u are asking for trouble |

Just think about it. Why do people use HIGH temp silicon hose. Because it needs to take high temperatures. And PVC definately will not. There is no point using copper as it is way too expensive to use and not as efficient/effective as aluminium or stainless steel. If you want a cheaper yet still effective solution, you can buy bends which are like radiator hose, and will hold the boost, and then just run straight pieces of exhaust pipe between them. Only problem with this stuff is if the turbo is blowing a bit of weed (ie its a bit oily), then they will deteriorate very quickly and then fail. But they do work. |

i think that would be fine from the intercooler to the air box. the rubber pipe that is. it is what they use on almost all the turbo jeeps and on the new turbo intercooled tritons |

I have seen radiator tubing used a few times on low pressure setups with very good results. |

spend a few buck and get some pipes made. cost about 150 for 2.5" mandrel bent pipe. pvc is a shit idead, theres nothing worst than making boost and blowing pipes off, let alone blowing pipes apart |
