32/36 vs 34/34 (NA)

I am running a 32/36 on a mild-ish G200 with extractors and a nice cam. Would I be better off with a 34/34 Weber? Secondly, I am guessing a 34/34 will not bolt up to an adaptor for a 32/36?

If a 34/34 is a better idea, what kind of gains can I expect over a 32/36?

Well recently i pulled off my 32/36 and bolted the 34ADM straight in its same place , there was no adapter plate needed...

And i also did notice a slight betta performance in the 34ADM at all round speeds from 0-140km/p/hr . it must blow through a more finer type off spray or something? with those larger type jets??

Hey Benjamin,

The 34 ADM is a bigger carby in general, so when jetted correctly, will let the engine make more torque than a correctly jetted 32/36. The gains made at mid to high rpm will generally mean a loss at low rpm, but due to it being a progressive carb, you can overcome some of this with foot control, ie, not simply pushing your foot to the floor at low rpm.

BTW, it mounts on the same adaptor plate as a 32/36 and should be able to use the same aircleaner, with perhaps some slight cutting.

I have no idea of gains, maybe 'several percent'!

ive seen that 32/36 crack venturis
ive seen it only 3 times but were as the venturis on the 34/34 are bigger and more refined supposedly

hey mate, I was just wonderin what sort of cam u got and wot sort of power gains have you had? I got a g200, with a webber( not sure wot size) 40 thou over, 2.5" exhaust, extractors and 5 speed and want to put in a mild cam. any help would be great, thanks.

I've never seen a cracked venturi. Do you mean main venturis or the booster venturis (the ones that sit in the main venturi to deliver the fuel)?
