ive got a bored 1600 with a camtech stage 2 cam water injection on my tuned nikki carby a reinforced 4 speed box and a standard diff so whAT can i do

can some one explain water injection to me

never heard of that before wouldn't it affect the cylinder?

Its a fine mist which cools the charge a bit and from what i've heard helps seal certain points in some cases, usually forced induction. Theres not enough to damage stuff as far as i know, anyone else know for certain???

True Reddez, its a very fine mist and its used mainly in high boost or highly worked engine situations where there is lots of heat. Makes the engine run cooler and ups compression as it doesnt compress anywhere near as much as fuel/air. As Reddez says, there's not enough water vapor injected to damage the engine. It is used most commonly with methanol fuel too.

i had a mate with water methanol on his vl turbo
but i didn't think you would put it on an n/a car
