if you are scared and aren't too sure how to do it, probably best if you take the car and the springs to someone and pay them a small fee to just fit them, shouldn't cost much...

basically you have to compress and clamp the springs to make them fit in and out.

front springs are a bitch
you have to take the brakes and other bullshit off then clamp them and stuff.

no u dont

undo the lower ball joint and rack end and once the lower ball joint is reslease the lower control arm will drop down far enuff to pull the spring out

HAHAHA undo the lower control arm and steering knuckle and then with a rope tied to the spring, crack the ball joint with a hammer, then its a test of your boyscout rope skills weather or not the spring kills you.

in on the other hand... i actually used the two spring compressors to squash the spring but made one much tighter to "bend" the spring, put a jack under the lower control arm and push the spring towards the car while you wind the jack up, eventually you dont have to hald it any more, just wind the jack until you can do the ball joint up.

If you are worried about the spring compressors holding them as they come out wrap some fencing wire around them as a safety margin if the compressors slip off, if the wire is thick enough you can use it as a crude spring compressor by twisting it tighter (not recommended as it snaps fairly easily under those stresses), however if you can take em out i don't see why you can't put em in, for what they'd charge you you could buy a decent set of tools and do the job yourself...
