Allo,
I have a querie regarding the tank loads of vibratoins I get from my car!
I get to about 2500 RPM and it vibrates, I change down gears to slow down, and as I'm half way thru letting the clutch out, the car vibrates, it seems to be coming from the err Torque Tube, I had a quick look under the car before, and I gave the Rubber bit a shake, and it seems to move a bit. Is this the torque Tube thats creating the vibrations? Is it maybe the mounts underneath are a bit loose and giving me the shakes? I wanna get to the bottom of this...any Suggestions would be greeeat...cause I wanna fix it Asap! Its shitting me off!
Thanks Chaps

My car did it until the tailshaft droped out. This is probably what the problem is what happens is the bolts from the tailshaft to the diff move around and slowly begin to strip and therefore come loose causing vibration. Check your tailshaft bolts to the diff se if they are ok.

Sounds like a broken torque tube rubber or a bent shaft.

I've had a broken tube rubber before, and its not like that, it could be deteriorated though.... when they break, when you accelerate off the mark quickly, it thumps real heavy... so I dunno...
I'll check the bolts and stuff....maybe it is the rubber..
Is the rubber meant to be hard as? and the tailshaft not move much where joined to it?

Thanks All
