Ok... Would putting a 2ltr head on a 1.6 block give more compresion meaning more power or would a full 2ltr give just as much... I need a serious answer please before I go shelling out the money....

Cheers

The 1600 head has the smallest combustion chambers, and therefore the highest compression. The best combination is a 1600 head on a 2L block, a couple of the water galleries don't quite line up, but you can either ignore that or easily do something about it.

If you were running a turbo on any of the motors, then you would want to lower the compression, and would want to use either a 1800 or 2L head.
