re: grille, bumper etc
mine was a bit rough, but thats what sandpaper and spray putty are for. i chopped the bars out of the front bumper as well; i had mesh in both of them for a while but got into an accident and the bumper mesh was never seen again.
cheers,
justin

Cool goons i will have a look around for some different mods as well. For looks anyway. Did you keep the boot section between the tail lights black? Or spray it the same colour when you sprayed your car?

Cheers

it might work better if you bare metalled it, but as long as its smooth you should be ok.go a few coats of primer and sand them smooth. are you using a spray can or compressor? you mightnt need clear, but youll have to sand it smooth with 1200/1500 grit sandpaper in between coats and after your final coat. after that hit it with some cutting compound from ricebarn, auto 1 etc and then with some decent polish and it should be shiny as.

cheers,
justin

i am just going to use a can. I have some matt black left over from my bumpers but i think i should buy gloss. i should'nt need more than 1 can. I was thinking about giving my car the "Formula" treatment. Something holden bought out to get rid of the VL and Astra and RB. Came with a small rear wing and a decal that came below the centre line across the door and faded the further u got down. I am not sure if they came with mags though. Did you end up getting that rear wing? Also can you have a look at the wreckers out your way for the windscreen wiper switch? I just have the metal switch not the plastic cover although i pinched some switch things off my cousins pos Astra and they fitted on it ok but i want the original.

Cheers
