Weber carbs, manifolds, etc.

Hey all,

I am finally selling a heap of parts that I dont think I will use.

I have thought about selling complete bolt on weber carb kits, with everything needed, including ported inlet manifolds as per my website.

Manifolds are $110,
Adaptor plates with throttle brackets are $50 (assuming adaptor plates still cost $40) - to suit down draught webers.

I have a heap of carbs too and can supply the following. All are cleaned and partially reconditioned. A full reco involves all new bits, and rebsuhed throttle shafts, etc. Well I dont rebush shafts, and if a carb was that knackered, I wouldn't sell it. Just new gaskets and diaphragms where needed, and a complete clean out of all passages, etc.

34 ADM (mechancial secondaries) from XE/XF falcon - $85

32/36 DGV (mechancial secondaries) off 2 litre escort - $85

32/36 DGV off my blowthorugh carb engine, also good for big cam engine - $100

38 DGMS (synchrounous butterflies) from 3 litre V6 capri (very rare and flows shit loads, used as blow through for a while) - $150 - 1 OF ONLY

All these webers share the same stud pattern.

Also,
2 x 40mm Dellorto side draughts, DHLA straight off alfa, - $300 inlc. factory airbox.

1 x Solex 40mm side draught - $65 (i've never used this carb but looks good, same as weber.

1 x Weber 45mm DCOE side draught - $180

1 x Holley 350cfm

do u have n e weber carby, singe or twins bolted on2 gemini manifold that u want 2 sell complete, so i can bolt it straight on?

Yes, I can bolt any of the downdraughts onto a standard (or standard but ported) manifold with an adaptor plate and throttle bracket, and all you have to do is unbolt your old manifold, and bolt the new one on with a new gasket.

I dont have any manifolds to suit twin carbs, only standard manifolds.

ben what is the linkage/throttle cable assembly like on the 38dgms?

also,what is the base thickness of the carby? [will it accept 32/36 mounting studs?].

First off, you cant really put a side draught carb onto the standard manifold, well you could, but you would be better off with a downdraught, heaps cheaper for same result.

32/36 is $85,
adaptor plate and throttle bracket is $50.

You could bolt these to your standard manifold.

If you want a stock manifold off me, $15, ported $110, ported TX manifold (bigger ports) $130.

I'm in Ballarat, VIC. Can COD anywhere in country, you pay of course. I would guess a carb and manifold would cost $20 or so.

So as far as price, you add up what you want.

The 38DGMS is vurtually identical to a 32/36, but bigger internally. I dont know the base thickness of the carby, I dont actually know what you mean. But put it this way, it has the same stud pattern as a 32/36 and looks the same from the outside, so the 'base thickness' would be the same.

The throttle cable attachment is identical to a 32/36. Mine are anyway. If you already have a 32/36, then you unscrew what you are using, and screw it onto the 38 DGMS. If you dont have anything, I can supply a throttle setup that runs the standard gem cable, no modifications necesarry.
