ok i mine is making alot of noise i was wondering if this is common it sounds shocking
should i replace it of can you open them up and pack them with greese or something? |

| I'd say thats one of the shaft bearings, cant remeber exactly how theyre put together, basically pull it apart and find and replace it... Very simple alternator to rebuild though, however you could pick one up from a wreckers, but you can't guarantee its any better... |

hey i had that exact problem! i though it was the alternator but i swapped it wid 1 of me spares and it still did it so then i took the waterjacket off and it was all rusty in there so i put me spare on and now its fine.
just a thought |
