Has anyone bought and installed any of the Jaycar 'Equator' Alarms? I dunno if they are any good or how hard they are to install. Anyone? |

i used the equator alarm from jaycar, and the central locking they sell, thay hoock up together, its not hard, if you can solder wires and use a multimeter its really easy. just takes a bit of time coz theres lots to do |

i had one in my commodore and it lasted about a year then both remotes stopped working replaced the batteries and still nothing, also its fuckin anoying cause it arms the actual alarm after 30 seconds once key removed, whereas they normally only arm the immobiliser, and one more thing the wiring is all colour coded makes it a bit easy to bypass, not trying to turn you off buying one or anything |
