tacho???

I got an rb without the tacho and i was wondering what i`d have to do to hook up the instrument panel with the tacho.
A friend of mine said i could just plug it in and it`ll work fine but im not sure if he knows what hes talkin about.
also i wanna drop in the 4xc1 turbo. im gettin it for $800 and i was wonderin if you caould tell me what i`d need in the way of a new fuel system or whatever.

No, it is a FWD engine. It is only sohc 8-valve though. There is also the 4xe1 which is dohc 16-valve turbo, which is the same motor that is in the Lotus elan turbo.

4zci is a rwd one.
4xc1 is a fwd one.

i saw that on a website a while back, but its closed down now. the instrument panel will go straight in but with one small mod to the electrics, but i cant remember what. ask an auto electrician
