its somethin i still cant work out. Which set of twins is better. Sidedraft or downdraft.
I need everyone to vote so i can tally up the winner.
A reason for ur choice would be good too. common guys. |

From what I was told by a carby specialist the downdraughts are better because the dd manifold has a better path for the air to follow into the motor compared to the sidey |

The experts at Liddles also told me that dd is better, primarily because the manifold flows better than the S-bend manifold needed for the side draughts. They were chuckling at me for having sidies. If you could engineer in a remote master cylinder so you could have a straight manifold then the sidies would be better |

side draughts are good for a suck through turbo set up, otherwise downdraught. |

for a low budget and a simple fix, go the downdraught.
for a higher cost and a more complex fix, go the sidedraught.
