When my dohc engine dies I was thinking of running a sohc injected engine, since it would be easier to get parts for and cheaper to have work done on if needed.

It also means I can keep my injection setup from the DOHC, so what is involved in running a SOHC with injection. Will the DOHC injection manifold fit ? Or will I need to use a rodeo 2.6 manifold ?

Would it just be a matter of bolting things up and tuning it ?

(I already run efi so no need for a new fuel pump, computer or fuel lines)

My computer is fuel and ign so I won't need a dizzy either.

This is all in the future but I like to think ahead I guess.

I read through the workshop EFI guide and it says that parts from n/a piazzas can be used. So I think it may fit with an adaptor or something.

I compared the top manifolds last night and they looked pretty much the same from a glance.

?

i know for sure that the dohc injection doesnt fit on a sohc.

rodeo injection does bolt up with very little mods, a mate told me what he had to do, but i didnt really listen. hehe

Ok, would the rodeo inlet manifold bolt up with the dohc throttle body and injectors ?

Understand it may need an adaptor plate or something

why not make a custom plenum? its not hard. mines just 4" alloy pipe welded to the stock rodeo inlet manifold. looks awesome when its pollished up, big 72mm throttle body
