I know gene is gona reply to that topic! hey mate, Im looking at doing an import engine soon, i was chasing the piaza 4zc1t, i had a few lined up too, but after looking at the output stats, i realised that for the effort and money involved in an engine swap, i could do much better.
I am after a twin cam turbo efi, possibly an sr20 or a ca18det. after reading various numbers of your posts, and a bit of research, i realised the fj is a sensible one too.
Ive removed EVERYTHING from my engine bay except the engine, brake boost and fanbox. ive saved a fair amount of dosh so im ready to buy soon and seriously considering an fj20. if possible could u send some pics of ur car, ur work or maybe shed a bit of light on the topic? id love to know what probs u had or any tips you could point out, or its cool if u cant.
