Insurance is so cool, I have a mildly worked G180 and I rang up to get a quote for insurance, went through all the usual questions, found out that my seat covers are covered but other 'cosmetics' such as mags and steering wheel might not be covered. Then when I told them about my stereo they decided they wouldnt cover me coz my stereo was worth too high a percentage of the total value of my car. So then I asked for JUST third party, no fire, no theft, or anything, just cover for other peoples vehicles but because of my stereo they couldnt even give me that they reakon... dumbarses, like the value of my stereo has any bearings on the cost of any other vehicle that might be damaged by me

its got to do with someone stealing your car just for the stereo. Well thats what they told me when i tried to insure my car with my stereo in it, they said it was too liability to them.

Just Cars are fuqqin hopeless! They wouldn't insure my car simply because the wheels were 0.5" over standard. Any engine modifications whatsoever will also render it uninsurable.

I may have spoken to the wrong person, but I spent a great deal of time trying to find the exact vehicle spec on paper that would allow it to be registered.

She is off the road now anyways for upgrade so it doesn't matter. Later in the year I will be calling Shannons.
