firstly bayce, if you send your gemi to a shop they should, automaticly match the colour, so that no matter what paint they do it in it will look very close, most car panel shops do not use 2pack, its used for trucks and industrial, people say that they have 2pack paint but most of the time they have base with 2pack clear. (2pack does not have metallic flakes, or pearls people!)

minty tg, if you are in the brisbane area, and have somewhere to spray your gem, i do a decent paint job for a reasonable price,

it must be an orange and bathurst thing, but the panel shops round here said they dont do acrylic because it clogs up the filters

acrylic is cheap and old, no offence to anyone who painted their car with it, but its old technology, base and clear and 2pack is new better technology, for all your metallic colours and pearls u use base with a 2pack clear, looks awsome, no pollishing to begin with, same with 2 pack except u dont have any metallics or pearls,

they dont use acrylic because its old technology, y use that when u can get a better long lasting finish with base and clear or 2pack.
