car's runin a tad dodgey with new cam, idles a bit like a rotor, haven't ran the car for over a months, and i think i should advance my timing. any body know exactly how much degrees i should increase it by from wot i had before?

i thought lumpy cams made it idle like a rotor, dats y the r lumpy.

Yeah when u put a Lumpy cam in it makes it idle higher!
When u got the cam for your Gemini did it say on the box how much to advance the timming? I know Crow Cams tell you how much to advance it!
Ring the ppl u got it from and ask em! |

yea dude, it was 2 degs, said on the car. stupid me. it was running like a rotor cos a pipe from the carby that runs over the rocker, to some little piece of shit on the right near the alternator was disconnected, and it was pulling loos air or sum shit, i hooked it up, and with the old timing ran like a swiss watch.
