anyone had any luck with these? i was thinking of buying one of the 2x150 watt ones

I have one of the sub amps they sported for a short while... I've heard of other people's response (jaycar) amps packing it in pretty early, but me and my boss both have response amps and subs and they go hard and haven't caused me any problems.

I have the 290WRMS @ 2Ohms sub amp, driving double magnet, double voice coil 250WRMS 12" sub, which together goes harder than mates other-branded 250WRMS 12" sub.

But yeah, I have heard more bad stuff about response than most other brands... I think it's more luck of the draw, but they are nice and cheap.

Yeah, that's what I've been told... I've only had mine a few months.... but my manager has had his for around 4 years, and his house mate about the same...

i had mine for about a month and then the remote/ignition terminal stuffed up and wouldnt work so it kept the car ignition on so i went and got a refund and bought a blaupunkt

exactly, I feel it's a pick of the draw... which of course doesn't instill any great feelings about a product in me personally..... but mine is still fine for me
