my car is hopefully getting lowered three inches next week depending on resources. will the standard shocks last for a short while until i get more funds together, or will they make that nasty bottoming out noise all the time?can anyone recommend some decent shocks? cheers.
p.s peteymate do you want a set of 35mm lowered springs cheap? |

Well... for one... the rear shocks (assuming you have a sedan) will be too long, so don't take corners too fast, or go down really bumpy roads braking etc... basically, your rear springs will fall out If not fall out, they may rotate, which is also pretty damn bad. |

to go with your lowered springs you will (for safety reasons) need to get "shortened stroke" shock absorbers, my preference would be the pedders range, top quality product, goodluck with it...
cheers,

thanks for the recommendation mate, though pedders only make
springs as low as 35mm for my car, so i doubt theyd make shocks to accomodate 75mm springs would they?or would they custom make them?
pete im in bathurst, nsw, where are you? the springs go in next week so you can have them any time after that.cheers, goons |
