Hi i have 2 G161 engines and a G200 coming from sydney very soon!
Will my G161 crank fit into the G200 or not?
Should i ring the wreckers up and ask 4 the crank too for the G200??
Thank You!
Merry Christmas!

it reduces the cubic capicty of the motor or sweep volume IDAREU2 or some of the engine builders might be able to explain it better

it should rev alot qwiker and more too

So if i fit the g161 crank it will rev faster?
thats okay then cause i was only gonna get the G200 block and fit my g161 crank and new pistons and conrods!

If the crank does fit, you will effectively be making the 2L an 1800...

Basically, 2L bore, 1600 Stroke = 1782.5cc
2L bore, 2L stroke = 1948.8cc
1800 bore, 1800 stroke = 1816.8cc

So therefore, if it fits, your engine capacity would be slightly less than an 1800 engine... Theoretically, yes it would rev harder, who knows wether or not this would equal your car *actually* going faster.

I personally doubt it would all work properly anyway, after all that.

well, u will be making it a smaller capacity engine as ppl have said, dunno what size tho, the revving harder and faster difference between the combo's will be jack all but the torque will be alot less than the 2L with a 2L crank, in my books thats pretty pointless what u r doing, {the 2L/1.6L hybrid}
just get the 2L crank have it balanced and it'll probably rev as hard as the 1.6L
