How would I go about installing a boot remote - what components would I need to get from the wreckers and is it fairly easy to install? |

You can buy remote boot releases brand new from Jaycar, autobarn etc for about $30. Then you need to attach it to the boot lid, so that the metal rope can activate the relase lever, and hook the wiring up to the battery, via the provided switch that you would put in the cabin. It is all quite straight forward once you have a look at it. However, one thing I haven't been able to work out yet is how to get the bootlid to actually open, as the extra weight of the remote release holds it closed HTH Cheers |

try and mount it as far forward as possible towards back window i haven't put one in but that would transfer the weight and the leverage to the hinge end...instead of the tail |
