FUCKEN CAR

Driving the car last night and the accelorator pedal dropped to the floor while I was shifting into third and sat on cutout for a couple of seconds, now the car is running like a dog with 3 legs. Does anyone have any ideas, I remember reading about the same thing a while ago, is this person still here, if so what happened to your car? (dont tell me to use search I have already looked through about a thousand posts)

I had a look last night and there is no compression in No. 2 cylinder

check to c if your accelerator cable is attached to your carby correctly

All thats fine. Ithink its the rings because it was blowing a fuck load of blue-black smoke last night, and when I started it this morning there was nothing so I checked the dipstick and it came out clean.

check ya plugs, make sure there not crusted up (leaky valve)
check ya leads, make sure there not shot
check ya dizzy cap

maybe take a lead off another cylinder and put it on the No 2. one to see if the problem moves if you see what im saying.

new dizzy cap (bosch one) is only about 15 bucks from K-mart, worth a try..

nah mate it sounds like your low on your head light fluid.
or your wheel nut needs a new car

Spark plugs were fine before now they are pitch black. I was going to try new points, rotor and spark plugs but there is no oil left in the motor (dont want it to seize).

if i were you, id go flog gene's FJ20, get some work done to it, ie clean it! and ur set!!

maybe check the carby out? could be pumping in too much fuel and making it run really mega rich? pull it apart, clean it, inspect it.. itll take you about 3 hours if you do it nice and slow and clean it all out with meths...
