Does anyone know what the standard bump stop clearance is?

I need to know because I got canaried and need to have at least 2/3 of the original clearance. There is about 10mm at the moment.

hmmm, i don't know, but try contesting it. i'm pretty sure it doesn't matter as long as the chassis is no lower than 100mm at any point. this doesn't include the exhaust, or diff, (or the piece of metal the handbrak bolts to, i think anyway). but i know for sure about the exhaust and diff. they tried to get my cousing for having his car too low, and they measured the point under the diff... just in case some of u dont get this, the diff does not move (up or down) when you lower the car (it will move sideways, but as long as u don't have really fat tyres on, u won't notice it)

To combat the sidewards movement you can get an adjustable panhard rod to adjust it back, just lowering it without this isnt a good idea, changes many of your alignment properties, thrust alignment, etc. Makes your car crab walk down the road. Theyre available from pedders and whiteline, can't remember price, but a very worthwhile investment if you are lowering a car for performance and wanna do it properly...
