i am gettin my carby reco'd, and found a post using the search about some1 getting theire carb done, and wot it had done.
After a couple of days of the carby being in the car I thought I would tell you how well it went. After installing the carby you could tell the difference straight away It would accelerate a bit faster in first and second but the real difference is in the upper gears. It now pulls a lot easier from about 1000 rpm in all gears especially 3rd and 4th. After experimenting with how well it went I found you could drive UP hills in 4th gear at 40km/h which is about 1000-1200 rpm, where as before the revs would keep dropping and it would ping its head off.
I also found out my car is now quicker than Subaru Libertys(automatic 2.5L N/A wagons anyway). I am very happy with this mod and would recomend this mod to everyone.
it this shit true, or just a load of crap. any1 had this done? also is $280 GST incl. with fitting and all that shit a good price. the place is called carbtech. but has sum1 dealt with someone else?

Its true but I had my carby done at Sams performance so I'm not sure whether it will be the same mods or not. But if it is the same thing you will be able to feel a difference. |
