Hey man, ive had the same sort of problem with one of my cars. It might not be fuel at all. when my car was doing this it was caused by the distributor rotor fucking up. Wasn't getting enough spark so it misfired alot, and jolted. It was also intermittent. Well, intermittent until the day it died when i was in the middle of work. hahaha Smile

Anyway im not too up on the rbs, but just check all the spark systems; coil, rotor button, leads, breakers (do rbs have these?) and so on. good luck man

hey msmith, my car had similar problems a while back, once you hit 100 k's and kept drivng like that for a few minutes, itd start jolting and stall and id have to pull over. anyhow, 2 mechanics couldnt figure it out, but the third reckoned it had something to do with the vacuum advance diaphragm, fixed it and hey presto no more problem. hope that helps, weeksie.
