G'day everyone,
what's up
I just bought a 32/36 DGAV Weber carby off a Falcon and i was just wondering if any of u guys have used them. I have spoken to some carby "specialists" and they say that if i put it on, the car will drink petrol excessively and that it will cost approx. $350 to tuned it or something? What do you guys think?

Also, my standard air box won't fit directly onto the top of the carby, i put a K&N replacement filter in so i don't really wanna have to replace the standard air box. Any ideas?

i thought it was only the 34adm u could get off the falcons, dats what i've only heard,

You could be right dude, i was just guessing that it was off a falcon, might be off a cortina or something tho. Do you know anything about the 32/36 weber? any help would be greatly appreciated.

i havn't had em but yours would b off a cortina 2L they had the 32/36. shouldn't cost $350 to get it tuned i think this guy is twistin ya arm, go to profix or sumthin ask them they retuned my stock carb 4 $80. About the airbox, have u got pods running off ya carb or the big round stock piece off shit thang, get a wrx scoop and cut a hole in ya bonnet and get it enginneeered and shit , dat would look cool.

i have just got the stock round air box, no pods or anything. I might try getting the bottom of the cortina airbox and cut that off and fixing it to the bottom of my air box so that the weber fits into the base of my air box, if u get what i mean.

About the pod filter, can u get an adaptor that connects it to the top of the carby and if so, where to all the extra hoses from the stock air box go?

when you say $350 im guessing thats tuned on the dyno, id hope so...

as far as drinking the fuel goes, i know for a fact that my car is now a hell of a lot more economical than when i had the nikki on there (the nikki was stuffed obviously), so it would depend on a number of circumstances...

I depends primarily on how heavy your right foot is and if the carby is in tune.
