The other day I was passing a bottle of metho to my cousin as we were cleaning our windows after washing the car and the bottle slipped and some spilt down the rear quarter of my gem. There is now a stain there (I have metallic gold paint) Sad
Do you guys know of a way to get the stain out? I hit it with some Kitten No 1. Polish & Wax but that did no good.

Cutting compound?
metho is definately a bad thing when it is left on too long. Ive used it on my paint to remove overspray from spraycans, and its worked well, but if it isnt cleaned off quickly it can eat through your clear coat. Hopefully the stain isnt to deep
Good luck dude

Even worse than metho, other than brake fluid is rust converter. Put a bottle of it dow on the bonnet the other week = not good idea. Lucky its time for respray anyway

get it profesionally buffed! for $100 aand it will take any marks out off the paint and ti will make ya gem like sweet as. i spilt petrol on ine and had a heap of streaks but took it to a car detailer and they buffer the whole car for $100! i wouuld recomend buffing it even if the paint wasnt fucked. it makes it look so good!
