I've got a tx sedan and for some reason the front wheels tend to sit too far back ever since it was smashed and the cross member was changed. Is it the lower control arms that are wrong or is it the control arms and the cross member as a whole thats wrong?
In other words, do the cross members vary from model to model or are they the same c/member just different lwr control arms. any help will do.

the repairs have all been completed, chassis re-aligned everything, tried two different lwr contrl arms(don't know what models there off) and 1 pushed the wheels further back than the other set, but no set brought the wheels foward.
Ball joints and everything are brand new, i've built this gem 4 show and everything vitually brand new, but it's pissing me off because the wheels sit to far back and the only wheels that fit on the front are the stockies.

Does anyone here know if fitting Radial Tuned Suspension (R.T.S) from a later Gem will help cure this blokes problem? The radius/castor rods may be able to help you adjust the front end to sit a little more forward. I haven't properly checked out a Gemini set up as i have only played with non RTS Gems. My old RX-7 had castor rods that i got a suspension specialist to fiddle with to make it stick to the track a little better. So i'm assuming there's a possibillity that if you can fit the later suspension or modify the existing set up to take the RTS, you may be able to help solve your problem.
Anyone care to point out why this would or would not be possible. It's a mod i've considered doing myself.
Cheers,
Jasyn...

thanks for all your suggestions boys,i promise when she's finished i'll send a picture in and i'm sure you'll all be impressed with this gem.
Hopefully one of these ideas will work as i was intending to just buy a whole new cross member and wishbones myself but i was hoping someone could tell me exactly what to do.
But if someone could tell me the all cross members are the same and that only the lwr control arms changed over the models that would be a grat help.
