oil pressure

can anyone explain to me, why is it that with every worked g200 SOHC i've built(1 warm, 1 hot running av gas)whenever you remove the oil cap whilst the engines running it spits out oil and there's pressure gallore, (like a steam train.)
Is it normal?
If not how do i rectify the problem?

could be your ring gap

It happens on my stock 1600. My dad says all or most Isuzu motors do it. Can every body go out and check their motors (just the people who have Isuzu motors).

ok.....
when the rings dont seal properly or there is a ring gap that is too big you get air that leaks past the rings.. pressurising the sump.. because your cam and rockers are moving , it tends to flick oil around and as the air is coming out the breather/oil fill it takes some with it!.
The only way to rectify it is the use of gapless rings and bedding them in correctly.even then you will still get a little blowby.. but not enough to worry about!
when it dumps oil into the air filter then start worrying!!!!!!
