cut and pollish (sorry last post)

i was wondering i have fadded blue paint and was wondering if
those t cut colour fast things do bring back the blue or is there no use
will i have to get a respray
how much would i be looking at? just the same colour but new

I would'nt think there be any good, get a qoute from
a car detailer see what they can do before spending
dosh on a respray

The t-cut will bring back the shine and possibly a little colour as long as there still is pigment in the paint under the surface. Give it a go.

The t-cut cuts a layer of paint off the surface so it may make it look a bit more vibrant.

The cost for a respray varies. I'm getting mine done by a friend in 2pac white. I'm doing the prep and its costing around $400. Most of that is materials.

i dont know the roof and bonnet are really fadded so i doubt they will come back
how would it be for a respray if they did all the work
and they doa half arsed job like sand the wax and top coat off then paint over the old paint if its the same colour?

Hey mate i read an article in an old mag and this guy had
a gemi faded paint an all and he took it to meguires and
when they had finished it looked like it had been resprayed
so check the yello pages and get it looked at by a pro car detailers first. Sorry I cant recomend any i live in Tassie

my coupe has bad paint so i have taken to it with wet n dry and it is coming up much better. but mine is white.

ok try this.. its cheaper than a respray.
1) wash it well
2) cut the paint back (by hand)
3) use a paint de-oxidiser
4) polish (dont worry about colour waxes too much)
5) sit back and marvel how good the paint looks compared with before

did it on a mates VP, paint was pretty shabby, did that process and it looks like amillion bucks.. it took about 2 days to do it properly though

lol sanding it with wet and dry hahaha. I do beleive u though, that worked on a resprayed panel of mine
