well the tg is coming along slowly. after acquiring it earlier in the year for 350 bucks we have stripped it completely to bare metal the panels were all 100% perfect so its sitting in my shed and all i need to do is remove the paint from the roof. however we sanded and wire buffed the panels back to metal but im not sure if i want to heat up the roof with the wire buff as it is so thin and sanding it will take me ages has anyone else had experiences in the best way to remove the 4 layers of paint that is left on the roof.
also anybody know a good sandblaster in or around logan.
will post pics when i get em. |

whats wrong with paint striper and paint scraper
scratch up the surface well and put the striper
on thick and sit back and wait

yeah im back from overeas, so ive been workin non stop on the bitch the only problem is the paint stripper seems to dry up and then its just twice as much work scrapping the shit off.
i think im just gonna try the wire buff tomorrow mornin. |

try putting glad wrap over the stripper so that it will not dry up, |
