Reading a recent post i decided to check what my mixture screw was set at as i haven't checked it since owning the car (3 months)
it was screwed out (anticlockwise) about probably 10 full turns... what effect would this have and why would it have been so far from the standard 2 turns out???
i set it to the standard then set the idle stop again to around 750rpm, and now it doesn't seem to be running as smooth?!?!
cheers

ok i've noticed another thing now i've set the mixture to standard setting... the car is fine on acceleration (probably better than before) but not on deceleration the car seems to jump and bunny hop a bit when the revs get lower (coming to a near stop in 2nd gear etc.)
how can i get rid of this as its bloody annoying!
cheers

thanks kizza, after reading your measurements i used gregory's to be accurate...however...will adjusting too much mean i will be running either too rich or lean??? |
