when the head gasket has blown does the to head have to be shaved incase of warpige?? how much does this cost? |

You should get it shaved if its warped, check it first with a straight edge, it shows you how to do it in your gregorys. Make sure you check the cam journal to see how badly its affected. Thats needs to be dead straight sometimes it wont be affected, depends how badly its warped. There is also the option of getting it 'straightened', i dont know much about this, recall Alan saying it involved the heating and straightening of the head, altho i think there was a risk of wrecking the head as well.

yeah just get it shaved straight just in case that it is wraped. Aslo check for cracks and if there is some get em weilded up |

forgot also, get the engineers advice on any dodgy water jackets, get those welded if necessary |
