Just plug the dash in normally and it should work, there is no difference between the clock, vacuum or tacho dash connections.

what about the male plug on the back of the clock. normal connections only light up the clock. does the male plug on the back of it have anything to do with the clock actually workin.

i the back on my dashes (tx & tc) the clock has two wires with ring terminals on the end which get screwed down onto the board to give it power. if you like i will take a photo with my digital camera tonight and post them up for you

if you are doing that you may as well look for a constant supply on the dash itself because then if you want to take it out again you dont have wires going everywhere... and it just makes a neater job...
