If you change the auxiliary venturi from the primary side with a spare one from the secondary side, remove the choke completely (and cover the holes) and modify the carby so it is a mechanical secondary carby, how much difference will this make?

for the amount of work involved, why not get a 32/36 weber?
check out ben wights page in the links section, that'll explain why.

but for what its worth, the increase will be insignificant, compared to a 32/36, so dont bother. [my opinion]

tis up to you, but making a vac secondary to a mech is a pain in the arse.

dont change the venturi, just install a pair of chromed power jets, instead of just one and a normal one.
[inside the nikki, there is one chrome jet, u need 2. put the new chrome one in the primary side].
