i'm not an electrician but have you tried following the whole unit all the way through? like checking all wires in the circuit are connected and current is getting through, fuses, use on of those pen light thingos for testing for a current. if you can't fix it from there i dont have a clue

Check the connections to the blinker box make sure they are all good and test it with a test light.

Also check the fuse that the blinkers are on in the fusebox. Sometimes the actual clip on the fusebox comes loose and gets a bad connection. I had the same problem, pushed the fuse box clip back in properly and the blinkers work.

you will have to chase the 12v circuit. Start at fuse, then for 12v at blinker etc. Do hazards work??

Shifter.
Mechanicals : The aluminium shifter will bolt onto the gearbox with no dramas, older boxes do not have rear support but still hook up. I used a Gem import, check Piazza length.
Tunnel:
The hard part is the floor, the shifter hole will not align with a manual or Auto floorpan. You will have to fabricate a raised tunnel. Lifting tunnel hieght from the old shifter level to the handbrake trying to acheive 1/2" clearance over shifter. Warning : Fuel and brake lines will have to be rerouted before cutting into floor.
Its not an easy install with all fiddly fabication but well woth it.
THE REMOTE SHIFTER'S SHORT THROW AND CLOSER HAND POSITION is apleasure well worth the effort
