I unscrewed the three screws on a tx gemi on the r/h/s mirror and the screws broke.
so i have to take off the mirror to buy another one.
i opened the door panel and i have 2 screws to take off so the whole thing goes off
how do u unscrew those 2 screws from the inside of the door panel??
do i have to rake of the little chrome case from the outside of the car?
please help as i need to fix asap
any help will be very appreciated

i,ve just put new mirrors on my car but it is a TE. i had to remove the door skin and all that. UNDO THE WINDOW.(important)then you stick your arm up through the bottom hole (the big one) put a little bit of crc on the thread and use the smallest shifter you can find to undo the first few turns. it should come loose then you can undo it with your fingers. just be sure to be holding the mirror from the other side cos it will fall off. to get the other one on just do the same in reverse. remember to have the window down otherwise you will be there a while scratching your head like i was.
should work the same on a tx.

OH AND ANOTHER TIP
peel off your window seals near the screws so you can see what you are doing, it makes it much easier.

On my TD it had little plastic screw things on the inside of the door.

But yeh, take the door trim off and go in with some pliers, hold the plastic nut/metal nut and unscrew.
