hi, was thinking of changing my trailing arm bushes and wanted to know if they have to be pressed in-out etc. bought some noltec bushes to put in (tx sedan). also do the tx run a rear sway bar and if not can one be fitted off of a later model?

cheers.

To get the old buses out, you can cut one side off with a hack saw and then push them out with a vice, working much like a press. You could probably also hammer them out, but you couldn't install them that way.

To install, use a vice like a press so as you wind it up, it pushes the bush into the trailing arm. Make sure you use plenty of the supplied red grease.

TX's dont run rear sway bars, but one could be installed. You have to bolt the swaybar bush brackets from an RTS model onto the floorpan, and weld to the diff housing the outer end attachments.

i have looked at putting a rear sway bar onto my car as well, if u have to weld i would be just as easy to get a late model 10bolt diff as everything bolts up and all u have to do is weld the handbrake cable mounts off a late model onto your floorpan if u have an early model floorpan.
The late model diff has slightly better brakes and is a stronger unit.
