Ok clearly a few of you dont like the idea of waiting that long for a cruise... well heres the drum!
Considering adelaide is a small city, a lot smaller than brisbane, sydney or melbourne i.e we cant click our fingers and have a 50 car + cruise. It obviusly means its gonna be harder to get as many gems as them to a cruise. So in order to get the word out we need TIME.
What we (Matt Bywaters, Myself, Hones & anyone else)will be doing is organising flyers, either ourselves or with Breadvan Dave (if he's still alive) and then the next step is to take them to performance centres, gemini specialists, and to the general public.
This all Takes time, and you have to allow people to plan ahead for these sort of events.
Take the Clipsal 500 for instance, they advertise MONTHS in advance so people will turn up.
So my point is that we need time to "Advertise" this cruise in order to get the biggest turnout possible...
Myself and Matt Bywaters have been involved in organising all of the Adelaide hotgemini.com cruises so far and we've seen it grow to promising numbers, the more time that has been given to organising, the bigger the turnouts have been!
So therefore September 29th will stand for everone's benefit.
All i am asking is to please be patient, and hopefully it will be the biggest one we've had yet!!

How about we make a commercial and get two guys and one hot chick sitting on an esky or a fold up chair on the side of anzac highway and they make car or gemi noises and pretend they are coming. Then they turn their heads as if the cars drove past.
And instead of having mud thrown at them, we'll throw lollies to show people we are nice. |
