If you're after an Autoguage/Autometer monster tach, you'll be looking at $300+ in most places around Melbourne. I bought a 5" Autoguage 8000 rpm tach/external shift light (the cheap one) for $295 a year or two ago from Revolution Racegear (Ringwood?). Worked a dream, but they cost
