What's involved with recurving a dizzy? Please explain in simple non-mechanical terms for the non-mechanic I am. And how much does this usually cost the average punter?

Firstly, it is nothing to do with regrinding the points cam or anything like that (as I erroneously assumed until i really needed to know!). Its changing the advance vs rpm curve by variation of springs/weights.
