on the td's, anyone painted the chrome bumpers?? any good worth doin or leave it chrome??

Ive heard that dave(gold TX)i think painted his bumpers.i havent seen em or dont know if its completly true but yeah if that helps ya

if u r talking bout coxy no his bumpers r chrome, that's the best look i reckon, unless your bars r shagged so u need bog to fill'em.

Yeha i was talking about coxy. that just shows u shouldnt always trust contacts. it was probly just his paint shining on the crome.

i reckon leave em chrome. chrome bumpers on a td look mafd with a good paint job on the car.

Why not go for the brushed look? Take some fine grade to every piece of chrome on the car and hey-presto.

nothing but trouble!! Friend of mine got his crome bumpers sprayed black, cost a fortune but the shit just peeled of anyway!

Not even, what? Oh, the finish won't be even? Depends on how skilled you are and how much effort you wish to put in. IMHO painted bumpers will look sh!thouse. You'd have to take them back to bare metal anyways.

You're asking me whether the brushed look will look shyt? (whatever shyt is...) I can't even understand your question. If you're asking me whether it does, my answer is simple: No it doesn't look shit if it is done well.

Merely food for thought, rather than painting the things, which would be just as hard to get right.
