I was just lookin through the search forum when i come across a few forums about wheel bearings. How do bigger wheels put more stress on them, also has anyone done anything to them to fit 16's. Or do you not worry about it and just slap the wheels on anyway.
thanx peoples. |

the bit in the middle of wheel is where the load is carried if this bit in the centre of the rim is to big the wheel bearing will carry the load and then there is problems |

The diameter of the rim has virtually nothing to do with load on the wheel bearing. Its the offset. If the offset is increased so the track of the vehicle in increased, then more load is placed on the bearing. This is the case with most wide wheels.
