are the te inlet manifolds the same as the tftg manifold

NO the early models came without the big ugly valve thing underneath (EGR?). I think the TE was the last one without it..

Basically yes. All Gem manifolds are interchageable, the TE/F/G ones have the EGR valve on the underside. Not desireable, as that makes access to the manifold bolts underneath more difficult, also harder to pull out the starter motor.

thanks i have my tg motor in my te but have a te manifold with a webber on it just wanted to know it it would bolt straight on no hassles

you dont have a tg light and indicator you want to sell
