ok me and josh are having a agurement about the gemini gearbox tunnels.

are they the same tunnels for both auto's and manuals. i reckon they are coz the xtracotrs run and dont knock on the sorst and the trimatic and the mnanual about the same width.

I may be wrong but;
The tunnels are all the same.
The only differant tunnel is in the early TX gems.

Correctumundo. Early TXs had the symmetrical floor pan (think Ive said that 3 times this week here)

Nope. The TG tunnel does look diffrent from inside due to a slightly different mould perhaps, , but essentially the space in all the tunnels is the same. You can put an auto into a manual no worries, as our other friend is about to do.

Not all tX's have symmetrical floor pans...do pay attention Gene.

well the stamp on it says td hehheh. anyways from under the car the tunnel is about 50mm wider. ???? yesi did mesure it

Ive got 2 Geminis here that were autos, both now have 5 speeds, and generally speaking, theres no more noticeable room around the boxes than Ive noticed on manual Gems. If the tunnels are diffrent, its only very slight. As I think I said, the TF/TG tunnel does look different from inside, think thetunnel was slightly different for those models.
