how many valves would a '81 TE gemini have and can u put a 16 valve head on a 1600 or would u just buy bigger valves for the gemini head??

8 valves, 2 each pot- an exhaust and inlet.

depends what ur aim is
if u want to turbo it at some stage, then a g200 twin cam head would be perfect for lowering compression ratio.
if you're gonna leave it n/a, port the hell outa d head, shove a lumpy ass cam in it, and deck d head for more compression

A DOHC head will NOT fit on a SOHC block doofus.
The rest makes sense.
