A bloke i know has 3 Nissan gazelles, he is building one good one out of the 3. Out of interest, would it be a mission to drop one of these 2ltr injected donks into a gem. Or wouldnt it be worth the effort as a 2ltr isuzu would be a whole lot easier. Whats the power output like for these engines.

Thats the FJ20det engin right!? talk to FJ2047 in this site. he just don tthe conversion and has all the details

Gazelles(aus) or silvas(japan) came out in aus with a ca18(aus) or fj20(japan). If the car are imports they most probably will have fj's but if they are from aus they are ca18's.

i dare say they would be australian, he picked each of them up pretty cheap. Will do a search on the Ca18's, are they worth the hastle of a conversion?

YEAH!!!!!!!!!! u will be easly in the 13sec's with eather the fj or ca!!! do it man. if the engin is cheep i would go for it
