Hey Dr Gem, I'll sell you a pair of 40mm sidedraught Dellortos DHLA's,for cheaper than that, hows $699 sound? I will rebuild them so that they are 1 day old, you just have to supply a manifold. Its a bargain!

if you give me the throttle linkages and cable - and the receipts of the rebuild - ill give ya 650 for them, cos a manifold is gonna set me back 150 - 200 bucks!!

I couldn't sell them to you for that much, really, when you think that you could get a rodeo injection manifold and SH computer for not much more.

BTW, the rebuild would involve me buying two rebuild kits and many hours of my time, so the receipt would'nt reflect the true amount of blood, sweat and tears that I would have to pour into them.

So all up, I was really cracking a bit of a joke about the original asking price of close to $1000, seeing you regularly see complete twin carb setups going for as cheap as $400 in the trading post.
